Got Questions?

See the Frequently Asked Questions below, or send us an enquiry. There are no silly questions, we want to help!

  • To talk to Future Tutor Management send us an email at contact@futuretutor.com.au or submit an enquiry through the form on this page. From there we can answer your query or we can schedule a phone or video call for you.

When you’re assigned a tutor you’ll be given their email address and get access to a message board where you can post updates and talk to them between sessions. You’ll also get their phone number for emergencies.

  • Future Tutor is based in Sydney, NSW and Adelaide, SA.

We offer in-person lessons to students in Sydney and Adelaide, but we take online students from anywhere in Australia!

Online lessons for students in other states follow the South Australian pricing.

  • Yes! You can read each tutor’s profile and let us know who you prefer, or you can tell us about yourself and we can assign the tutor who would be best suited to you.

    1. Every tutor has a valid Working With Children Check registered with the NSW or SA Government.

    2. Tutors undertake regular child safety training to make sure that they can accommodate the needs of children and refer them to additional help when necessary.

    3. We work closely with our tutors. As part of the process of working for Future Tutor our tutors have to give us a lesson first so that we can check their tutoring style. Tutors also undergo a probationary period where their sessions are recorded and reviewed.

    4. Strict policies are enforced to make sure that tutors do not overstep any boundaries.

  • Probably!

We’ve taught students with mental health conditions like ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. We can make accommodations like having shorter sessions, having a break in the middle, working on topics of interest, and taking things really slowly when we need to.

We’ve taught students with physical health conditions that make it harder to learn at school. We’ve accommodated cataracts by using extra large writing materials and reading everything out loud, and diabetes by having insulin breaks. We can even have live captions for Deaf and HOH students!

  • Absolutely! Some of our team are LGBTQIA+ themselves!

Your gender and sexuality shouldn’t impact your education and if you’ve got a different name or pronoun you’d like us to use just let us know.
