Future Tutor is dedicated to equity for all students. A portion of each lesson fee goes towards giving free and subsidised lessons to students who cannot afford them.
The scholarship covers or decreases the cost of 10 hours of tutoring which must occur in one school term. Each term either one 100% scholarship or two 50% scholarships will be awarded subject to the needs of the applicants. If the applicant lives too far away from one of our tutors the tutoring sessions will be delivered online.
We encourage all students with a determination to learn to apply.

You are eligible to apply if you are studying at a recognised educational facility in Australia. This includes Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education. You may be asked to provide evidence of your enrolment.
Applicants will be selected according to who has the greatest need and drive to learn.

To apply for the scholarship please answer these 5 questions:
What stage of your education are you in? (eg. school year level)
What subject(s) would you like help with?
How can we help you?
Do you have any systemic disadvantages you would like to disclose? (eg. Disability, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, LGBTQ+, in foster care, etc.)
Would you be able to use a 50% scholarship or do you need the cost covered completely?

The cutoff date for applications are 2 weeks before the start of the NSW school term.
Applications for 2024 are open now.
Applications received after the cutoff date will be considered for the following term.

Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified one week before the start of each term
The Term 2 2024 scholarship recipient will be contacted on the 22 of April.
Unsuccessful applicants are welcome to reapply for subsequent terms.
Successful applicants will be notified and led through the student induction process.
